This article has a look at how you can create and manage a recurring series of bookings for your players.
Steps to create the recurring series
- Navigate to the Schedule menu and move to the first day the series will begin.
- Click on anywhere in the schedule to create a new booking. You can change the court and time later.
- From the drop-down box, select Recurring Series, then add a title, select the court and choose the payment type to be applied for the entire series. The title can be used later to search in the bookings menu.
Remember that if you select the split payment option, you will need to add the other players and the amount they're paying (if not the default price). - Add the owner of the booking, and don't forget to edit the price if it's not the default. Add the other players if you know them already and edit their prices if required also. You can add the other players after it has saved. This price will apply to all bookings in the series.
- Set the recurrence of the series: how often it repeats, the time, and the start and end date.
- Add any private and/or public notes if required and hit create.
Editing a recurring series
Once the recurring series is confirmed, you can edit the booking length or change the court via the schedule menu.
This change can apply to just that booking or all bookings in the series. Note that if the default price is set, it will automatically update based on your pricing configuration. However, if you set a custom price when creating the series, it will not be updated.
Please note that once a booking is confirmed, no further changes can be made.
Payment options for recurring series
Your players have two options to pay. You can arrange payment with them at your club and mark it as paid choosing the payment method they used, or you can leave it blank, and they can pay in the Playtomic app.
Pay at the club
Locate and open the booking in the schedule. Select Mark as paid and select the payment method.
Pay in the app
Don't mark the booking as paid, and the player/s will have a notification in the home screen. They need to accept the booking and move to check out screen to finalize their payment. They can also locate the booking from their profile.

A: No, you must do them from Playtomic Manager.
Q: If a recurring reservation is created as split payment, can it be changed to single payment and vice versa?
A: No, the series would need to be cancelled and recreated if the payment type is to change.
