'Extra' products

What Are 'Extras'? 🏓

'Extras' are additional items players can include when booking a court. Please note, these are the only Extras you can set up in your club:

  • Racket rental
  • Balls
  • Overgrips
  • Water

Players can add these items on the pre-payment screen, which allows clubs to increase their product sales with a great profit margin!
 

How to Set Up Extras in Your Club 🏆

As a manager, you need to create and enable Extras so they appear in the Playtomic App during the booking flow.

Steps to Enable Extras:

  1. Go to Settings:
    • Click on Settings > Extras > New Extra.
  2. Add New Extras:
    • Choose the Extra and set its price
  3. Add VAT/TAX::
    • Set up the tax rate for your Extra by using the VAT/TAX field.
  4. Select the sport
    • For all Extras except water, choose the sport the Extra belongs to. Extras are sport-specific, so the app can show the right items depending on what’s being booked (e.g., for a tennis court booking, show tennis-related Extras).

⚠️ Players cannot cancel 'Extras' separately. They must cancel the entire reservation or remove their spot from the game, including the Extras.

 

🗑️To delete an Extra, click on the item and then on the trash at the bottom right.
 

How to Know if a Player Has Added an Extra 🕵️‍♂️

When a player adds an Extra, the app will inform them if another player has already purchased any units of the extras.

To check if a player has added an Extra:

  • Go to the Reservation Details:
    You will see the added Extras listed under the player's name.
