Playtomic Coach web app

The Playtomic Coach web app is a standalone, mobile-friendly web app for your club’s coaches, separate from Playtomic Manager.

Who is this for, and what problem does it solve?

This product is designed for your club’s coaches who spend most of their day on court and need a simple, mobile-first way to keep track of what’s next.

It helps coaches:

  • See a clear daily and weekly agenda
  • Check key operational details fast (time, participants, court)
  • Stay organized while on court or on the go

How it works

  1. Your club enables the Playtomic Coach App add‑on. The club pays for the Playtomic Coach web app and chooses how many coaches to include.
  2. Your club grants access to the coaches.
  3. Coaches open the Coach App to see their agenda and plan their day. They can also create private classes from the web app.

Please note that this is not a mobile app you can download from Google Play or the Apple Store. It is a web app that you access in your browser on a PC, tablet, or mobile phone.

You can also save it to your phone like an app:

  • Open the link in your phone browser.
  • Tap the three dots menu (top right).
  • Select Add to Home Screen.

This will add a shortcut on your home screen, so you can open it like a regular app.

How to request access

There are two ways for club admins to request access to the Playtomic Coaches web app.

Option 1: Through Playtomic Manager

  1. Go to the Academy section in Playtomic Manager. A pop-up will announce the Playtomic Coaches web app.
  2. Click Get started to go to Billing > Playtomic Coach.
  3. Click Request access to submit your request.

💡If you dismiss the pop-up, you can always find the request form under Billing > Playtomic Coach.

Option 2: Through the landing page

Fill in the form at playtomic.com/academy/coaches.

In both cases, your Club Success Manager (CSM) will review the request and contact you with the outcome.

What to expect after requesting access:

  • Activation takes 3–5 business days.
  • Each coach receives an email with access instructions.
  • Coaches must have admin permissions in your club.

FAQ

  • How does the subscription and billing work?
    Playtomic Coach is billed as a SaaS add-on managed in Stripe. In this initial rollout phase, the team may set up subscriptions manually.
  • Does the subscription renew automatically?
    Yes. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. The billing cycle is monthly.
  • How can a club cancel the subscription?
    Please contact your CSM to request cancellation.
  • What is the price based on?
    Pricing is based on the number of coaches the club wants to include. Consult your CSM for the exact price.
  • Where can the club find invoices for the Playtomic Coach web app?
    Clubs can download invoices from their Stripe customer portal.
  • What does the club need to provide to set it up?
    The email addresses of the coaches to be granted access. Coaches must be club admins
  • Which clubs can use the Playtomic Coaches web app?
    Any club using Playtomic Manager can request access. In the first rollout phase, access approval is at Playtomic’s discretion and is confirmed by the club’s CSM.
  • Can freelancers use the Playtomic Coach web app?
    There is no technical limitation, but granting access to freelancers is the club’s responsibility and should follow the club’s internal policy.
  • What will coaches see in Playtomic Coach?
    Coaches can see class details and operational information. Visibility of payment status and contact details depends on permissions and setup.
  • Can coaches add or remove players from activities?
    Yes. Coaches can add and remove players from all activities, as long as they have the necessary permissions. This includes adding guest participants, managing Couples/Singles for Tournaments, and all benefits price management.
