How to add/remove players in an Open Match

As a manager, you can easily add players to a match using Playtomic Manager on either desktop or mobile.

Steps to Add a Participant

  1. Select the Match: Click on the match from the Schedule.
  2. Add Participant: Click on "New participant."
  3. Choose Payment Method: Decide how the player will pay—either Pay in the app or Pay with Wallet.

When you add a player, they’ll receive a push notification on their phone. This allows them to settle their fee directly through the Playtomic app.

Payment and Debt Management

If a player doesn’t pay their fee online, the system will generate a debt against their account. This debt will prevent them from using the app until it’s paid off.

💡 Note: In Playtomic matches, players can only pay by credit card or Wallet—there’s no option to pay at the club. This ensures that the manager and other participants can rely on the presence of every registered player.

Remove a Player from an Open Match

Need to remove a player? Here’s how:

  1. Access the Match: Go to the match from the Schedule.
  2. Remove Participant: Click on the three dots next to the player's name and select "Remove participant."

Please Note: If the player you’re removing was added and paid for by another participant using the “Add my partner” feature, both players will be removed, and a refund will be issued. A warning will appear before you proceed.
