Playtomic matches are automatically handled by the system, which will reserve or release courts based on certain rules, such as the number of participants and the time left before the match starts.
By default, courts are assigned using the "Autoselect" option, but you can manually move a reservation in the Schedule if you'd like to assign a specific court to a match.
⚠️ Note: If you move a booking and your courts have different prices, you might see a pop-up message informing you about the price difference.
Blocking a Match for a Player
If a player is unable to book a match via the app or website, you can block the match for them so it won't be bookable by others. However, this option is not recommended. It’s usually better to share the match link so the player can register themselves. But if, for example, a player is on their way to the club and courts are available, blocking a match can be useful.
Steps to Block a Match:
- Go to Matches and click the filter icon at the top right. Select Without players and then click Show results.
- Select the match and click Add court. A pop-up message will appear—click Confirm.
- The system will notify you that the match is now blocked and marked as unpaid.
The player can now book the match through the app and share the link via WhatsApp or social media to find more players.
🚨 Important: If the match was manually created, it won’t be automatically cancelled if not enough players register!
