Coach Profile

Before you can create a class in your venue, you need to create a coach profile. This helps you manage the coach’s prices, availability, and calendar.

Steps to Create a Coach Profile:

1. Go to Academy from the left-side menu.
2. Click on the Coaches tab.
3. Press Create Coach.
4. Fill in these details:
   • Name
   • Phone
   • Email
   • Sport (Only Tennis or Padel)
   • Short Description
   • Upload a Picture (optional)

After creating the coach profile, you’ll see three tabs: Profile, Availability, and Calendar.

How to Manage Coach Availability:

To set up the coach’s availability:

1. Go to Academy from the left-side menu.
2. Click on the Coaches tab.
3. Select the Coach.
4. Go to the Availability tab.
5. Use your mouse to select a time and date range. A new screen will appear.
6. Fill in the following:
   • Sport
   • Courts
   • Prices (for the whole class, not per player)
   • Lesson Duration (for example, if 60 minutes is €10, then 90 minutes would be €15)
   • Number of Players (set prices for up to 4 players)
   • Start/End Time
   • Days of the Week
   • Timed Prices (optional: activate this to set prices for specific times)

How to View the Coach Calendar:

To check the coach’s calendar:

1. Go to Academy from the left-side menu.
2. Click on the Coaches tab.
3. Select the Coach.
4. Go to the Calendar tab.

Customizing Coach Permissions

You can adjust the coach's permissions like you would when adding an admin role in Playtomic Manager.

• When a new coach is added, they’ll receive an email confirming their admin role for the club. This doesn’t create a new Playtomic account, just a new user role.

Important: Only users with a tenant owner role can see and manage the club admin section.

Accessing Your Schedule on Mobile

Coaches can easily view their upcoming classes and schedule on mobile using the Playtomic Coaches web app. Simply visit https://coaches-playtomic.vercel.app/ from your mobile browser and log in with your Playtomic account (the same email linked to your coach profile at your club). Once logged in, you'll be able to see your upcoming classes with all the essential details: including courts, client names, number of players, dates, and times. The app features both daily and weekly calendar views, making it easy to check your schedule at a glance while you're at the club or on the go.
