Once you've created a Benefit, you can manage it over its whole lifecycle: switch it on and off as your offer changes, and delete it once you no longer need it.
This article explains how to activate and deactivate a Benefit, and how to delete one you no longer use. Both actions affect your members, so it's worth understanding what each one does before you start.
How to activate and deactivate a Benefit
Benefits can be activated or deactivated at any time. A deactivated Benefit stays in your Benefits list but is inactive, so users can't use it.
- Go to Rewards and Offers and then Benefits.
- Find the Benefit in the Benefits list, then click the Status toggle to set it as active or inactive.
- When deactivating an active Benefit, an alert will appear: "Deactivate benefit? You are about to deactivate this benefit. All current members will be removed and will lose access to their perks immediately."
- Click Deactivate to confirm.
⚠️Important: deactivating a Benefit immediately removes all enrolled members and they lose access to their perks. This can't be undone, and members can't be recovered — they would need to be enrolled again from scratch.
How to delete a Benefit
If you no longer use a Benefit, you can delete it to remove it from your Benefits list and keep things tidy.
You can only delete Benefits with no members enrolled. If the Benefit still has members, deactivate it first (see above) to remove them, then delete it.
- Go to Rewards and Offers and then Benefits.
- Find the Benefit you want to delete in the Benefits list.
- Click the three dots on the far right of the row, then select Delete benefit.
- An alert will appear: "Delete benefit? Benefit [name] will be delete and removed from the list. It will no longer be available to assign or sell. This action can't be undone."
- Click Delete benefit to confirm.
⚠️Important: archiving is permanent. An delete Benefit can't be recovered, and it will no longer be available to assign or sell.
