Club Wallets: setup and configuration

Club Wallets are a dedicated payment method you can offer players at your venue. They can be used to pay for reservations, products, and services — and you have full control over how they work.

You can find all wallet settings under Rewards & Offers → Wallets in Playtomic Manager.

Your default wallet

If Club Wallets are included in your subscription, your club comes with a default wallet already set up and ready to use. You don't need to create one from scratch to get started.

You can choose how to manage recharges:

  • Internal only: You handle all recharges directly at the club. Players can't top up from the app.
  • In-app purchase: Players can top up their wallet directly in the Playtomic app. Enable Recharge packs in the wallet settings to activate this.

💡You can switch online recharge on or off at any time from the wallet settings.

Creating a new wallet

You can create multiple wallets — for example, to restrict use to specific courts, sports, time or to offer special deals.

Step 1 – Create the wallet

  1. Go to Rewards & Offers → Wallets
  2. Click Add new wallet
  3. Enter a wallet name
  4. Select the sports, activities, or courts where it can be used
  5. Click Next

Step 2 – Set time limitations (optional)

  1. Use time limits to restrict when the wallet can be used (for example, only during weekends).
  2. Click Next

Step 3 – Add recharge packs (optional)

  1. Turn on Recharge packs to let players buy recharge packs in the app.
  2. Enter the recharge name, amount, price, and description
  3. Click Next

Managing wallet status

Once created, each wallet can be set to Active or Inactive from the Wallets list. When a wallet is Inactive, players can’t buy new top-ups in the app, and admins can’t create new recharges from Playtomic Manager. You can still edit a player’s balance manually (add or subtract amounts), and players can keep using any remaining balance as a payment method — even while the wallet is inactive.

💡Wallets cannot be deleted — only disabled. If you disable a wallet, you can re-enable it at any time from the same screen. If you need to remove a wallet configuration entirely, disable it and leave it inactive.

Recurring wallets

A recurring wallet is a benefit you can offer players: it gives them a fixed credit amount that resets monthly. It's configured entirely by the club — players can't top it up themselves.

  • The balance does not carry over: unused credit disappears when the wallet resets.
  • The reset happens on the same day of the month the player originally purchased it.
