Playtomic Manager works in your phone’s browser, not as a downloadable app. For the smoothest experience, use the recommended browser (Safari on iPhone, Chrome on Android) and add Playtomic Manager to your home screen so it behaves more like an app.
Playtomic Manager on mobile: best practices for clubs
1) Important to know first
- Playtomic Manager is a web app you open at manager.playtomic.io.
- It is not a native app from the App Store or Google Play.
2) Recommended browser
- iPhone (iOS): Safari
- Android: Chrome
Why this matters: the experience is generally more stable on the default browser for each system.
3) Add it to your home screen (recommended)
This gives a more “app-like” experience with fewer browser bars taking space.
On iPhone (Safari):
- Open Safari and go to manager.playtomic.io
- Tap Share
- Tap Add to Home Screen
- Name it “Playtomic Manager” and tap Add
On Android (Chrome):
- Open Chrome and go to manager.playtomic.io
- Tap the ⋮ menu (top-right)
- Tap Add to Home screen or Install app
- Confirm
4) Zoom: can clubs zoom in and out?
Zooming with two fingers is disabled by design, but you can make text bigger using your phone’s accessibility settings.
Make text larger from the phone settings
- iPhone: Settings → Display & Brightness → Text Size (or Settings → Accessibility → Display & Text Size)
- Android: Settings → Display → Font size
5) If something does not fit on screen
- Rotate the phone to landscape (sideways) to get more space.
- Some tables can be scrolled side-to-side on mobile.
6) Troubleshooting
Problem: the page looks wrong, frozen, or very slow
- Close other tabs.
- Refresh the page.
- Check Wi‑Fi or mobile data.
- Update the browser.
Problem: login issues
- Try private / incognito mode.
- Clear browser cache and cookies.

Problem: features look different on mobile
- On smaller screens, menus may move into a top menu (three horizontal lines menu).
- Some features are limited on mobile. For full access to everything in Playtomic Manager, we recommend using a desktop computer.
Problem: can’t create a booking from the schedule
To open the booking window in the calendar, you do not need to tap repeatedly. Press and hold the time slot for a few seconds until the booking configuration screen opens.
7) iOS vs Android: is there any difference?
- The functionality is essentially the same.
- Small differences can happen because the browsers render pages slightly differently, but there are no major differences in what admins can do.
8) What admins can do on mobile (once everything is configured)
On mobile, admins can typically handle day-to-day operations, such as:
- Schedule management: view the calendar, manage bookings, manage open matches, manage public and private classes, handle recurring reservations, and create blockings
- Customer management: view customers and their details within bookings
- Daily operations: check-ins, payments, chat with players
- Tournament management: view tournaments, manage registrations and settings
- Reports: check key performance and financial reports
- Playtomic Campus: watch video tutorials and training content
