How to manage teams in a League

Managing Teams in a Newly Launched League

When a new League is launched, some actions may be required for the teams that have already registered. These include:

• Adding a new team
• Editing existing teams
• Removing teams that no longer want to participate
• Moving teams between groups

How to Add a New Team

To manually add a new team to the League:

1. Click the 'Add Team' button.
2. Search for each player by name, email, or mobile phone.
   • ⚠️ Note: This option will be disabled if the League is already full.
3. The new team will be automatically added to the round with a 'Next' status.

How to Edit an Existing Team

To make changes to a team that is already part of the League:

1. Navigate to the ‘Groups’ tab.
2. Click on the team you wish to edit.
3. Make changes to any of the registered players.

⚠️ Note: You cannot edit a team once the round has finished.

Updating a Team Player in an Ongoing League

If a player needs to be replaced due to illness or another reason, you can easily update the team:

• When you change a player, the system will automatically update any future matches.
• There is no need to manually update upcoming matches.

Reminder: Matches that have already been played will not be updated.

How to Remove a Team from the League

To remove a team:

1. Go to the ‘Groups’ tab.
2. Click on the team you wish to remove.
3. Press the trash can icon.

⚠️ Note: A team can only be removed when the rotation status is ‘Next’ or ‘Upcoming’ and the calendar has not been set.
