Store Report

The Store report shows your club's store activity: which products you're selling and how much revenue they generate.

All metrics in this report are calculated based on the payment date, meaning the date the payment was collected rather than the date the product or service was delivered.

The Store tab is visible to all clubs. If your club doesn't sell store products through Playtomic, the report will simply appear empty.

What you can see

  • Total Amount: the total collected from store sales in the selected period, net of refunds
  • Total Units: the net number of units sold. Refunded units are subtracted.
  • Avg Ticket: the average amount per payment (see below for how this differs from average price per unit)
  • Store Sales Trend: a daily view of how much you sold and how many units
  • Amount by Payment Method: your store revenue split by how it was paid (Online, Onsite or Wallet)
  • Amount by Category: your store revenue split by the product categories you've set up in your store catalog
  • Store Sales by Player: a ranking of players by store spend, showing units, total amount, average unit price and average payment amount. Click any row to see everything that player bought.
  • Store Sales Detail: a ranking of the products you've sold, with category, subcategory, units, subtotal, taxes, total and average unit price. Click any product to see every transaction for it.

Filters

You can filter the report by:

  • Date range, with a comparison against the previous period
  • Store Category and Store Subcategory
  • Item Name
  • Player Email
  • Payment Method and Payment Method Detailed

Understanding Avg Ticket

Avg Ticket is the average amount per payment, not per unit. If a player buys 10 units in a single payment, that counts as one ticket.

This is why Avg Ticket won't match Total Amount divided by Total Units. Both figures are correct; they answer different questions:

  • Avg Ticket tells you how much a customer typically spends each time they pay.
  • Average unit price, shown in the tables, tells you how much a single unit costs on average.

Reading the Store Sales Trend chart

  • The bars show the amount sold each day.
  • The white circle on top of each bar shows the exact number of units sold that day.
  • The light blue line near the bottom shows the trend in units. It looks almost flat because it shares the same scale as the amount bars, so to check units for a specific day, use the number in the circle.

Sales with no player name or email

In Store Sales by Player, you may see a row with no name or email, often the one with the highest amount. This is expected.

That row groups front-desk sales where no player was identified, such as a customer paying at your till in cash or by physical card without an account. The same applies to the transaction detail, where the player email is left blank for these sales.

Categories and subcategories

Store categories and subcategories come from your own store catalog. They're the names your club gave its products when setting them up, not a fixed list defined by Playtomic.

If a product shows an empty subcategory, there are two possible reasons, and both are normal:

  • The subcategory wasn't filled in when the product was created. It's an optional field.
  • It's a counter product (custom item), meaning an item typed directly at the till at the moment of sale rather than selected from your catalog. Counter products never have a category or subcategory.

Transaction detail

Clicking a player or a product opens the full list of individual sales lines. Each line shows:

  • product name and product code
  • player email
  • date
  • payment method, both simplified and detailed
  • units, subtotal, taxes and total

The Payments (Refunded) column shows whether that specific line was later refunded. It's a flag on each transaction, not a total of refunds for the report.
