Playtomic supports two types of payment methods: online payments, made by players directly in the app or web at checkout, and onsite payments, which your club configures and manually marks as paid in Playtomic Manager. Both types appear together in Payments > Processed, so you can see all payment details and reconcile them in one place.
Availability of specific methods depends on your country, your club's configuration, and the type of booking or product. This article lists all methods currently supported.
Online payment methods
These are processed through Playtomic's checkout and don't require any action from the club.

Onsite payment methods
Onsite payments are the ones your club configures and registers manually in Playtomic Manager when a player pays at the venue. Clubs can use default methods like cash or card at the club, or create their own custom methods (for example, Bizum or bank transfer).
For setup instructions, see Onsite Payment Methods.
Good to know
- Once a booking is confirmed, the payment method can't be changed. If a player wants to use a different method, they need to cancel and book again.
- Benefits and memberships renewals: if a player pays with a saved credit card, Playtomic can charge it automatically at renewal. Apple Pay, Google Pay, and local methods (like Swish, iDEAL, or MB WAY) don't support automatic renewals, so the player needs to pay manually, or the club can mark the renewal as paid onsite.
- Playtomic Terminal (United States only) lets clubs accept card payments onsite through a physical card reader, processed through Stripe.
