Shared courts let you link two or more courts so they share the same availability. When one of the linked courts is booked, the same time slot is automatically blocked on the other linked courts. This helps avoid double bookings when you have one physical court that you offer as different booking options.
When to use shared courts
Use shared courts when:
- You have one physical court but want to offer different booking options, such as singles and doubles.
- You want to offer the same court with different conditions or prices, such as heated vs. non-heated.
How to activate shared courts
- Go to Settings → Courts.
- Create a new court by clicking New court (top right), or open an existing court you want to link.
- In the court details screen, scroll down to Shared courts.
- From the dropdown, select the court(s) you want to associate.
- Click Save.
How shared courts work
When courts are linked as shared courts:
- A booking on Court A blocks the same time slot on Court B (and any other linked courts).
- In the calendar, you will see the corresponding slot blocked on the other shared courts.
- Players will still see separate court options in the app, which can have different:
- Names
- Prices
- Configurations (for example, Singles vs. Doubles)
What happens after you activate it
Once saved:
- If a player books a slot (for example, 12:00) on one of the shared courts, that 12:00 slot will be blocked automatically on the other shared court(s).
- This prevents double bookings while still letting players choose the option that fits their needs (format, price, condition).
Can shared courts be disabled later?
Yes. You can disable shared courts at any time:
- Go to Settings → Courts.
- Select the field you want to unlink.
- In Shared courts, remove the linked court(s).
- Save your changes.
💡 Tip: Shared courts are best when only one booking can happen in real life. If you have two separate physical courts, you usually should not link them as shared courts.
