Follow these steps to create a tournament (also known as Programs and Clinics) in Playtomic Manager:
1. Start a New Tournament
- Navigate to the Tournaments OR Programs and Clinics section.
- Click on Create Tournament or Programs and Clinics.
2. Complete the Tournament Information
Fill in the required details for your tournament:
- Name
- Sport (Padel or Tennis)
- Visibility:
- Public: Any Playtomic player can join.
- Private: Only invited players can sign in.
- Enrollment Type:
- Single: A team of 1 player.
- Couples: A team of 2 players.
- Price: Specify the cost per team (not per player) for registration.
- Start date/End date
- Registration Deadline: Set the final date for accepting registrations. Note that once the deadline has passed, it cannot be changed.
- Restrictions
- Min/Max Players (Optional)
- Gender
- Level
3. Add Additional Information (Optional)
- Welcome Pack
- Description
- Prizes
- Poster: the recommended size for an image is 1142 × 1600 pixels.
4. Save Your Tournament
- Once all the information is filled in, click Confirm to save the tournament details.
New Tournament (Programs and Clinics) Features
Court Blocking
When you create a tournament, courts are automatically booked in your calendar—no manual action needed.
- This feature is only available with the new calendar version.
- If you're using the old version, you’ll have the option to switch during the tournament setup, at the court blocking step.
Custom Pricing
You can set custom prices based on category or membership when creating a tournament.
- The system calculates the correct price automatically at registration, whether it's an individual or doubles entry—each player is handled separately.
Mobile Tournament Management
All tournament features are now available on mobile.
- You can create, edit, and manage tournaments and players directly from your mobile devices.
