The updated Reports section in Playtomic Manager is designed to simplify how clubs view key data by dividing information into four distinct subcategories instead of a single, overwhelming dashboard. This structure helps clubs easily locate and analyze specific data across different aspects of their operations.
The Dashboard is divided into two main areas, each pulling from separate data sources:
- General Overview: Based on user data from the Revenues tab (payment list)
- Matches Top Users: Based on data from the Bookings tab (match records)
General Overview
In the General Overview section, three key metrics provide detailed insights, which make more sense when analyzed per product rather than in aggregate:
- Total Users: The unique count of users who have purchased something at the club.
- New Users: Users who have made their first purchase or tried a product for the first time.
- Returning Users: Users who have purchased or used a product again.
Note: New and Returning Users are not a straightforward sum that results in Total Users. For example, a user may be a New User for Tournaments while being a Returning User for Matches.
New vs. Returning Users Timeline
This timeline chart shows the daily evolution of the aggregated figures above, helping visualize trends over time.
Users by Product
This section displays two pie charts that break down Total Users, New Users, and Returning Users by product, offering a quick snapshot of user engagement per product type.
Matches Top Users
The Matches Top Users table provides a detailed breakdown of player engagement based on matches within a selected timeframe, sorted in descending order by user activity. The table includes:
- Total Matches: The total matches a user has participated in.
- As Owner: When the user booked the court.
- As Player: When the user joined an existing booking.
- Payment Source: Whether the booking was online or offline.
- First Match Played: Tracks when the user first participated in a match (remember to apply the date filter).
- Last Match Played: Highlights users who may have been inactive recently.
- Total Payments: Total amount paid by each user, combining online and offline payments.
This revamped structure makes it easier to analyze user behavior, track engagement, and monitor club revenue trends in Playtomic Manager.
